At Abs Bakes, we take food safety seriously. Please be aware that our kitchen handles nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and soya. While we follow strict cross-contamination protocols, we cannot guarantee that any of our products are 100% free from traces of these allergens.

Welcome to Abs Bakes! Every single one of our cakes and treats is freshly baked to order using fine, high-quality ingredients. Because we never pre-bake or freeze our products, we require a small amount of prep time to craft your treats to perfection.
3 Working Days Minimum Lead Time: All orders require at least three full working days between placing your order and dispatch/collection.
Working Days: This refers to Monday through Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).
Weekend Schedule: We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. We do not deliver, and in person collections are not available on weekends.
To help you plan your order, here is when your delicious treats will be ready based on the day you order:

Since we do not deliver or offer collections on Saturdays or Sundays, we recommend choosing Friday as your collection date for any weekend celebrations.
All our cakes and bakes are packaged securely and designed to stay fresh, moist, and delicious throughout the weekend when stored according to the included care instructions.
Not all products are available for delivery. However, where delivery is available, the following applies.
Mon – Fri Delivery: Orders are delivered in person Monday to Friday.
Receiving Perishable Goods: Because our bakes are perishable, please ensure someone is available at the delivery address on your scheduled delivery day, or provide clear "Safe Place" instructions (e.g., a covered porch or neighbour) using the Comments box on the Web Cart when placing the order.

Collection Days: Monday to Friday (10:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
Weekend Pickup: Not available.
Notification: You will receive an email confirmation as soon as your order is freshly boxed and ready for collection.
What about banks which take longer than three days to create?
Our web store shows quite clearly what the lead time is for each product. Most lead times are approximately three days, but some are much longer due to the complexity of the bake. When this is the case, please see the store product page in question where you will clearly see the lead time, so that you can plan for your collection or delivery.
What happens on Bank Holidays?
Our kitchen is closed on national Bank Holidays. Processing and delivery times will adjust by one extra working day.
